Dr Martin Fox
is the principal of Southgate Medical Centre, which he established in 2001.
Martin graduated from Monash University in 1977. His post-graduate qualifications include Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and Certificate of Travel Health of the International Society of Travel Medicine. He is also a member of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Martin is a caring GP with over thirty years’ experience in all aspects of general practice from delivering babies to aged care and everything in between.
His special interests include travel medicine, infectious diseases and preventative medicine.
Dr Nick Alfieri
joined Southgate Medical Centre in 2008 and is a most popular and respected member of our medical team.
Nick graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Adelaide University in 1994. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Nick’s special interests include cardiovascular disease risk management and travel medicine.
graduated from Monash University medical school in 1993. She is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has completed further training in Women’s Health and Travel Medicine. She spent 15 yrs living and working in Queensland before returning to Melbourne in 2009.
Becoming a mum in the last few years has simply added to her wealth of experience in Family Medicine.
Specific areas of interest – women’s health, paediatrics and travel medicine
is a Registered Nurse and accredited immuniser. Libby has been at Southgate Medical Centre for over two years and brings to the practice extensive experience in general practice, community and hospital surgical nursing. She is also actively involved in practice management and business administration.
Libby has a special interest in immunisation and wound management. On site Libby is able to provide services including pathology collection, corporate health assessments, childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations and nutritional advice
Libby is available by appointment during standard clinic hours and she can also be contacted via email and telephone.
